Burn the right wood

What wood should I burn?
Always burn dry wood with a moisture content below 20%

Ash or Beech when wet gives an output of 1.5 KWh/kg and when dry 4.5 KWh/kg - 3 times the amount of heat.

Wet wood produces smoke, burns inefficiently producing creosote and black like tar that sticks to the liner / chimney eventually blocking it.

We can supply moisture meters and kindling wood so that you can be sure you are burning the wood efficiently.
